Assignment for Tuesday, March 31

Due at the first of class Tuesday, March 31.

Use:

  • YOUR files from your Design Project #2
  • These files from this Web-Template1.ZIP I’ve provided.

Using your files from YOUR Design Project #2:

  1. Copy and rename your folder of files: Yourlastname-Site-with-Form
  2. Create an appropriately-named HTML file for each page your website should have (at least 4 pages, not more than 6). Typically you will do this by copying your index page, changing its file name, changing its title, and changing something in its content to be appropriate to the page it is.
  3. Make sure that one of your pages is a Contact page, with file name contact.html. Paste into that page the form markup from the Web-Template1.ZIP files. In your stylesheet, use the form CSS from our Web-Template1.ZIP files. (Alternatively, you may use one of the alternative approaches to form markup and styling, from Collison Chapter 9.)
  4. Modify the contents and phrasing in the form in the Contact page at least a little, to make it read and work like something that fits your website.
  5. Fix the nav in all pages so that it links to all pages.
  6. Adjust nav classes, body id’s, and CSS, as in our Web-Template1.ZIP files (or in Budd page 90), so that your site navigation will indicate which page the user is on.
