Job Application Packets

NEW DUE-DATE: Thursday, Feb. 5

Hand in a paper-clipped packet including the following items in this order:

1. A print-out of a job advertisement for a full-time position in which you would be interested and for which you could apply after graduation. This advertisement could be obtained from a service such as Monster.com or from some other resource. You may well use one of the ads you included in your strategy report. Write your first and last name on the top right of the page.
2. A cover letter, written following the key advice pulled together here, formatted to display distinction and professionalism, and specifically targeted for the above job advertisement. (Black on white, using our lab printer, is typical and preferred for this assignment.)
3. A résumé, crafted following the key advice we have discussed, formatted to display distinction and professionalism, and specifically targeted for the above job advertisement. (Black on white, using our lab printer, is typical and preferred for this assignment.)
