Monday, Feb. 15: Backgrounds and Typefaces

1. Use this framework.
2. Apply some pleasing background effects to the nav, content, and footer divs, using Photoshop and/or CSS3. (If you need help remembering how to create background images, refer to our screencasts from last semester.)
3. Experiment with new font options. Choose one font-stack for headings, and another contrasting font stack for other text. Read these two articles for inspiration: Stop Using Lame Fonts — Smashing Magazine’s Complete Guide to CSS Font Stacks

NOTE: Here are the results of my own modifications, including the PSD file I used to create the overlays for background gradients.
